The "Empowering God's Children" program is provided to us by the Altoona- Johnstown Diocese, and is a part of our ongoing effort to help create and maintain a safe environment for children and to protect all children from sexual abuse. The Director coordinates and directs the Grade School religion education classes, the Confirmation Program, and the Christian Initiation Process.

The Confirmation Program is a three-year process of formation for the youth of the parish preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Weekly classes of religious instruction and faith formation for the public school students of the parish. Classes are held on Sundays during the school year from 10-11 AM.

The Summer Bible School provides a religious experience for the parish family of St. Michael through Bible lessons, arts and crafts, music, stories, and games. Children, teenagers, and adults are involved in this week long program.
