Classes will begin September 12th!
We are excited to inform you about a new adventure St. Mary and Saint Michael Religious Education ~ Faith Formation Programs are going to embark upon this coming school year. The faith communities of both parishes are going to join together their resources to encompass one program.
We hope this merger will utilize our catechists, buildings and other resources to better serve the children in both parishes.
In order to give Fr. Alan the opportunity to meet with our children during their weekly lessons and also give him the opportunity to offer Adult Formation Classes during this time, there will be a change in the Mass schedule. The first Sunday Mass at both parishes will be held at 7:30 AM every Sunday morning starting the weekend of August 7th & 8th. The change in Mass times will enable families the opportunity to attend Mass together as a family before or after Religious Education.
Classes will continue to meet on Sunday morning. However, there is a time change. Classes will be held from 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. using both locations.
Grades Pre K, K, 1,2 &3 - Holy Trinity Catholic School (Hollidaysburg Campus)
Grades 4,5,6,7,8,& 9 - St. Mary School
Grades 10 & 11 - St. Michael Activity Building
We are in need of additional help to make this transition go smoothly. Besides the need for more catechist, we will need parents to assist in zooming each class session, people to direct students to proper class rooms and be available in the hall ways to assist where and when needed. Please give prayerful consideration to volunteering to assist in anyway that you are able. Together we can make the transition a smooth one and grow together in our faith.
Please complete the online registration by August 1, 2021. All students in Pre-K thru 11 must register.
The fee for students in grade K-11, the fee will be $25 per student. The fee covers the cost of books. Pre-K students are free. Checks may be mailed to St. Michael - 301 Spruce St. - Hollidaysburg PA 16648.
