Who can join?
All St. Mary and St. Michael Parish students in grades 7 –12 grade are invited to be a part of our parish youth group. It doesn’t matter what school you attend.
Why should I join?
This fun group is a great way to get to know others who share your faith. The group hosts numerous fun activities as well as service opportunities. Your opinion and ideas matter, come be involved and help us make the youth group what you want it to be. Need service hours for school or for Confirmation? Participate in youth group activities to easily achieve them... while having fun!
What does the Youth Group do?
Over the past few years our Youth group has done a variety of things such as: Campfire Rosary, Glo-stick tag, Kayaking, Christmas caroling, Cookie making and decorating, attended a Pirates game, Sky Zone, Movie nights, helped with Christmas Tree Gift Collections, attended Right to Life events, hosted kid games and activities at the parish picnic, Minute to win it game night, Ice cream socials and SO MUCH MORE!
When does the group Meet?
Meetings and activities vary throughout the year. Check the weekly parish bulletin for updates. You can also sign up for text message updates through the use of REMIND (a one way texting system) by texting "@stmicha" to 81010

Children's safety is a main concern and all leaders, and parent helpers must have completed background screenings and training consistent with the Altoona-Johnstown Diocesan safe environment policy. Medical waviers are also required for every Youth Group event.
